I was offered a place in Global Media and Communications Masters program at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and at the USC Annenberg School of Communications in Los Angeles. The aim of the degree is to provide an advanced academic and professionally oriented training in media and communications within a global context. The degree will address the study of media and communications as a global phenomenon and from global perspectives. It will introduce advanced theories in media and communications and research methods in the field. The programme will examine such questions as the role of media in the processes of globalisation and reflexivity, the globalisation of media and communications industries, and the implications of the globalisation of media and communications for community, identity, culture and for governance.

This program would be a natural continuum to my previous experience with local media, and Politics, Film and Creative Industries studies. After I finish my final undergraduate studies at the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />University of Greenwich I will have to start hunting for funding for two more years abroad. Do you have ideas who might be interested in procuring me into the challenge?  <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
